Born to a guitarist father and a dancer mother, she began taking various dance lessons from the age of three. She also earned the title of Natori in the Fujima school of traditional Japanese dance. In 2012, she began her career as part of a group, which she left in April 2022. The following month, in May 2022, she launched her solo career as Maina Mind.
